He touches a cold one and his finger turns to ice with a cute tinkle. A heated one causes his finger to pulse to life as crackling magma. A shocking jolt turns it his finger to a battery, buzzing with electricity. That's three fingers- he gives her look just daring her to give him something unusual. A challenge. ]

But she does give him the courtesy of avoiding his mind. Even if she is a bit...curious. That curiosity is something she can never quite get rid of. Watching him stirs even more curiosity in her, it's almost like watching a kid play and yet not at the same time. ]
Another challenge, mm? [ The strangest thing she can think of to put in a psychic butterfly would be a memory. Or knowledge. As she tries to narrow down what to put in one it occurs to her that she has disturbingly few good memories. Eventually she settles on a song, "A Little Girl's Dream", by her friend Dazzler that she's heard more than a few times. Music's a good memory right? ]
[ Yamada eagerly reaches for the butterfly, using a fresh finger and keeping the changes he's made so far. The index finger wriggles in a circle to give a bit of suspense before he touches it. It's a game he's excited to play, and that it involves stretching both their abilities is simply a bonus. As far as he's concerned, powers should be used. Perhaps abused a little. Ethics aren't his strong suit either.

His finger morphs into a record needle but it doesn't stop there. A vibration visibly flows up his arm, until it hits is mouth- the song emerges, clear and precisely as she remembers it.
Clearly, Yamada hadn't been expecting that himself, and slaps his other hand over his mouth. He spends a moment like that, then bursts into a bright, deep laugh. ]
[ Out of the corner of her eyes she watches him go after the butterfly, amusement only growing as she sees how he reacts. Eventually she does turn her full gaze onto him as he transforms his finger, allowing him to see the satisfied little expression on her lips. ]

[ Oh he’s proud. His lean into comedy as a default was a defensive move, so no one would think the smirking man was hurting. But actual laughter is simply so satisfying to invoke.
He leans forward, his eyes once more focusing as a cat does on prey, but locked onto her lips. ]

Her smile is one of those things that crosses self and shape so nicely, it makes him tingle. With his pupils so wide, it's easy to see the way his gaze laser focuses on the motion of her tongue. ]
